First proper training ride towards the South Downs Way 100 in July. Great day for it, some really stunning views in Wiltshire!
Invested in some Sahmurai SWORD tubeless tyre plugs recently after having getting a flint cut that barely sealed a few weeks back. Well they proved their worth, not once but twice this ride, first getting a flint cut 5 mins in to the ride and then another around 10 miles later. Both punctures swiftly repaired and what was left of the tubeless sealant did its job. The plugs/strings held up well and for the rest of the ride and didn't leak or come loose.

Nice photos Greg and sorry to see those Thunder Burts taking a beating (great tyres btw). One day, I'll ride Goring to Avebury then back along Kennet & Avon Canal!

Good luck with SDW 100 too.

Thanks Brian! The Burts are pretty good but a bit thin for round here, really fast though!!
I had sized up the reverse of your route starting at Streatley and finishing at Streatley, came it at roughly 100miles. Might have a crack at it later in the year after the SDW.
