for a change we decided to ride sustrans route to oxford instead of slogging through the mud on the downs ....mainly flat but nice easy tracks by the river right into city center and on to botley where we had a coffee followed by a browse round decathlon store where I bought some overshoes ...from there we went back a different way on tracks that led to boars hill , a bit of road work until sunningwell for the byway over A34 into Abingdon where we picked up sustrans route back to didcot , so quite an enjoyable day

Bet it's nice in the summer, could stop at the Nags Head in Abingdon which has a beer garden on the river.
Went out in the Chilterns yest, extremely muddy, I hurt today!
