A few pics of Chris's single speed setup Hope Pro2 bearing replacement from Monday evening.
There was a lot of play in the Freehub Body and the Drive Side Seal was extremely badly worn and no longer preventing contamination entering. Once stripped and cleaned it was clear that the pawls and springs were heavily worn too and would require replacing.

    Worn Drive Side Seal

The top pawl is how they should look, lower one is heavily work

Nice and clean with the drive side bearing pressed in.

Outer Freehub bearing had all but collapsed...

    ...and disintegrated on removal.

All new bearings (not gen Hope) only had minimal grease applied.

Additional grease applied to help extend the bearing life as this bike is used daily in all conditions, both commuting and off road.

Assembled Freehub awaiting new pawls and springs.
