Best way to keep feet warm and dry in winter?

    Soaking wet freezing cold feet are not fun in the winter :(
    When it's really cold out, say 5C and below, I wear merino wool socks with freezer bags over the top.
    What way have you found best to keep your toes cozy?

    same here only I have planet X overshoes £ 10 from on one . ideal for post ride pint in pub just tear them off ,nice clean shoes ,put them in plastic bag stuff them in camelback then wring them out in a bucket of warm water when I get home
